RAINER SAUER

CEO and CHAIRMAN, OKI PRINTING SOLUTIONS EMEA

Rainer Sauer is the CEO and Chairman of OKI Printing Solutions EMEA and is responsible for EMEA sales, customer service and marketing. His vision is to position OKI Printing Solutions as one of the top three brands in the professional printing solutions sector, underpinned by a continuing profitable growth strategy whilst maintaining loyal relationships with channel partners.

Rainer joined OKI Printing Solutions in 2002 as the Managing Director of OKI Systems Germany and Vice President of the Central Region, where he directed the consolidated turnover and results of OKI Systems Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands and Belgium. Under his direction, the company completed a successful restructuring program and achieved more than 50 per cent revenue growth in three years .

Prior to joining OKI Printing Solutions, Rainer held a number of senior management roles within European IT and manufacturing companies. Rainer became Managing Director of the Consumer Products Division at Olympus Europe in 1996, where he managed the company, more than tripling the revenue to over €500m by 2001. Prior to that, he worked at BASF Magnetics GmBH (1988) where as General Manager he reorganised and restructured the division and achieved turnaround. In 1985 Rainer joined the Allen Group Europe AG in the roles of Assistant to the CEO and Sales Manager. His career began in 1981 as product manager for Mannesmann Röhrenwerke AG.
