OKI delivers a solution for Sejtbank’s increased print volume
The confidential and private data stored at Sejtbank has lead to an enormous amount of paperwork and printing tasks, where speed, quality, quantity as well as cost efficiency are all equally important. As a result, Sejtbank has chosen OKI Printing Solutions as its print solution provider.
With Sejtbank Kft. introducing a free Down Syndrome screening for expectant mothers in nearly forty of their institutions there was a sudden increase in their print requirements. Together with day-to-day office tasks (invoicing and correspondence), such as the printing of forms and results required for the test, it has given rise to a threefold increase in printing demand, which grew to a volume of 13 - 14,000 printed pages each month. The existing OKI C5000 printers were no longer the right printer to support this heavy workload.
The challenge fell to a device offered in the OKI product portfolio and introduced last year, the C710dn, a high capacity, colour, duplex device. The main consideration when making the decision was for the new device to be able to print on varied types of media. In addition to the usual 80 gsm office paper, the media used by Sejtbank includes 100-120 gsm card, envelopes, forms with letterheads, and pre-printed content. Two-sided and ultrasound image printing are also frequent tasks.
With a monthly output of 7– 8,000 pages, the C710dn is responsible for almost 70 percent of the company’s prints. The devices installed at Sejtbank were one of the first to be sold in Hungary and they are still providing a solid performance after one year of intensive use, and are showing no problems so far.
According to Andrea Garda, financial executive of Sejtbank, “The OKI printer’s exceptional speed, high quality and cost efficiency’s are convincing. As a result, we are considering OKI’s other product offerings as printing tasks increase further”.
