Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), which owns approximately 90 per cent of the total electricity generating capacity in Korea*, has chosen OKI Printing Solutions (the brand name for Oki Data Corporation) to help improve operational efficiencies at its Seoul headquarters and 272 footholds.
In December last year, OKI Printing Solutions delivered 391 of its award winning LED color page printers to KEPCO. The models chosen were the C5400n (A4) and C9300n (A3), which with their small footprint, high quality output and fast speeds, are the ideal solution to help KEPCO not only maximise its office space but improve operational efficiencies.
Mikihiko Maeno, President and CEO for Oki Data Corporation, says: “We are thrilled that in the three months since we founded OKI Systems Korea Co., Ltd. (OSKR), that we have forged such a strong and valuable business relationship with KEPCO, one of Korea’s most influential companies. In coming months we will continue to focus on providing our award winning color printing solutions to businesses and government departments so that by March 2009 we can achieve our goal of 20% marketshare in Korea’s color page printer market.
“Looking ahead, there’s no doubt that Korea offers tremendous business opportunities for our company and will play an increasingly important role in our pursuit for global leadership in the color market,” he said.
