The Sonoda Corporation, a leader in the Japanese transport sector, has introduced a new system aimed at enhancing their driver safety so they can ultimately help prevent accidents on the road.

Safety is of paramount importance to those involved in the transport and trucking industry, which is why driver ability is frequently monitored and assessed to ensure optimum performance and the prevention of accidents.

With the support of Tiger Inc, (a Leading System Integrator in the Japanese Transport Industry), OKI Printing Solutions has provided a 'Safety Operation Management Solution', which enables employers to monitor each of their drivers.

The solution monitors and records such information as how quickly drivers accelerate or how often they break, so that employers get a clear insight into their drivers' capabilities. Furthermore, by recording and assessing their drivers' ability, operation histories can be documented, and training programmes tailored to focus on areas which require improvement.

An OKI Printing Solutions' C5200 high-speed LED color printer was also provided to help Sonoda management quickly access the information in a format ideal for rapid calculations.
