When Daito Trust Construction Co Ltd (Daito), Japan's premier apartment construction and leasing company, expanded to open a further 179 letting agencies across Japan it needed to produce information and advertising literature on Daito's apartments across their new branches.
As a lettings agency, Daito's customer-facing information and advertising, needs to be of high quality and regularly updated. Prior to purchasing an OKI Printing Solutions color printer, this display material was generally colored by hand and then laminated or placed in acrylic casing for weather protection.
To improve this expensive and labour intensive process, OKI Printing Solutions provided 179 high speed C9300 color printers to Daito's 179 branches. The C9300's unique LED single pass action allows Daito to color print directly onto heavyweight water and weather resistant paper, therefore avoiding the need for lamination or the use of acrylic cases. The high print quality of the C9300 has also allowed Daito to use color photographs and images of their apartments in the display material, improving the accuracy and clarity of property information displayed. Further to this, the C9300's ability to print on 120cm banner paper has made it possible for Daito to produce even more effective display materials in-house.
The introduction of OKI Printing Solutions' C9300 to Daito's letting agencies has substantially reduced overall display production costs and provided invaluable time savings as staff no longer need too hand-color or laminate advertising literature. Additionally, the C9300's flexible media handling allows Daito to print on various media at 30ppm (pages per minute). This has not only increased efficiency, but has given staff the confidence to tackle their advertising needs in-house, thus saving on expensive outsourcing costs.
Katsumi Tada, CEO of Daito, comments: "OKI Printing Solution's C9300 allows us to print all of our leasing communications quickly and easily. We can now produce attractive and informative documents which can be updated easily in-house, instead of time consuming manual labour, which has reduced our labour cost significantly. We have now deployed the printers in all 179 branches."
