Harushige Sugimoto is the President and Chief Executive Officer of OKI Printing Solutions, responsible for overall sales, research and development, marketing, and manufacturing. Sugimoto also heads up the implementation of an overall global strategy and is instrumental in aligning OKI Printing Solutions identity around the world.

Sugimoto also acts as the Managing Director of OKI Electric Industry, OKI Printing Solutions' parent company.

Starting his career at OKI as a mechanical engineer, Sugimoto has been engaged in leading technology and product development around OKI's communications business for over 20 years.

Sugimoto has also served as General Manager for Communication Network Business Division from 1995-2000; Corporate Officer from 2000-2002; General Manager of Corporate Research Development Center from 2002-2004; Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer from 2004-2008.

Besides these experiences, Sugimoto has also held strategic business planning responsibilities for China, having been appointed General Manager of China Business Promotion Division in April 2006.

Sugimoto graduated from the Department of Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Waseda University in 1970.

Sugimoto enjoys spending his spare time for outdoor sports such as skiing and hiking. He also likes to listen to R&B music.
